  • Day 1: Arrival at Chennai and proceed to Mahabalipuram known for its UNESCO world heritage site of Pallava kingdom. Mahabalipuram Sightseeing of Shore Temple (UNESCO World heritage site), Pancha Ratha, Varaha Cave Temple, Tiger Cave, Krishna Mandapam, Balancing rock, Arjuna’s Penance, all within 1-2 km radius) in the evening. Overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.
  • Day 2: Day excursion to Kanchipuram known for its 7th Century Kailashnath Temple and hand-woven silk sarees. Sightseeing of 7th Century Kailashnath Temple, Kambareshwar Temple (Siva temple with 180-foot high gopuram), the hundred-pillared Varadaraja Perumal Temple and 14th Century Kamakshi Amman Temple (a Shakti Peetha). Overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.
  • Day 3: After check-out, proceed to Pondicherry known for colonial era French architecture. Enjoy a walk on the promenade and french quarters heritage area in the evening. Overnight stay in Pondicherry.
  • Day 4: Pondicherry local Sightseeing of Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Aurobindo Ashram, Ashram’s handmade paper factory, Manakula Vinayagar Koil, Pondicherry Museum, the Botanical Gardens, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.   • Day 6: Thanjavur sightseeing of Vijayanagar fort – 16th century fort. Inside the fort visit Tanjore Palace, Sangeetha Mahal, Saraswathi Mahal Library and Art Gallery. Further proceed to Kumbakonam (41 kms – one way) and visit Darasuram temple, Adi Kumbeswara Temple, and other temples of Kumbakonam. Return to Thanjavur for overnight stay.
  • Day 7: After checkout, proceed to Chettinadu known for its Chettinadu cuisine, Mansions, and Temples. Guests can take a Heritage walk or stay in one of the heritages stays and enjoy Chettinadu cuisine. Overnight stay in Chettinadu.
